Each entry in the Guide lists the date the wine was tasted, the taste rating on a 100 point scale, and tasting notes. The Finer Life Champagne Guide is the ideal reference to help you select the perfect sparkling wine!

The Finer Life Wine Guides have been developed in partnership with The Beverage Testing Institute, Inc., the name behind the name for many of the wine ratings you see in magazines and beverage stores. Founded in 1981, the Beverage Testing Institute, Inc. produces respected, comprehensive buying guides for wine, beer, and spirits. Their website, Tastings.com, contains thousands of reviews and the largest directory in the world of wineries and breweries with hundreds of links! Their information is also available in print as Tastings: The Journal of the Beverage Testing Institute.
The main screen of The Finer Life Champagne Guide shows the wine name, the vintage and the tasting score (out of a possible 100 points) as shown at right.

Tapping on the wine record of interest brings up the detailed information for that wine as shown at left. Included in the information for each wine is the country of origin, the source of the grapes, tasting notes, and the date of the tasting. Many wines are tasted repeatedly from year to year.
